Our new Legacy Sires series of baseball caps celebrates some of the most iconic and influential champion sires from Coolmore’s roster, past and present. Featuring a timeless stone-coloured design with contrasting navy embroidery and branding, these caps have a distinctive look that set them apart from our current sires collection.

One of Australia’s most influential stallions, Encosta De Lago began his stud career at Blue Gum Farm in Victoria in 1997, before moving to Coolmore Australia, where he established himself among the country’s leading sires. Renowned for producing racehorses of exceptional speed, toughness and versatility, his outstanding progeny include Chautauqua, Alinghi, Sacred Kingdom and successful sire Northern Meteor. Crowned Champion Sire in Australia in both the 2007/08 and 2008/09 seasons, he went on to become Champion Broodmare Sire for three consecutive seasons.
