A son of the legendary Northern Dancer, Sadler’s Wells was trained by Vincent O’Brien to victories in the Irish 2000 Guineas, Eclipse Stakes and Champion Stakes in 1984, before establishing himself as one of the most influential sires in thoroughbred history. Crowned Champion Sire in Britain and Ireland an extraordinary 14 times, with his progeny winning all five British Classics, he also claimed three Champion Sire titles in France, cementing his legacy as the most successful sire of the 20th century.
