Giant's Causeway Cap - Legacy Sires

Our new Legacy Sires series of baseball caps celebrates some of the most iconic and influential champion sires from Coolmore’s roster, past and present. Featuring a timeless stone-coloured design with contrasting navy embroidery and branding, these caps have a distinctive look that set them apart from our current sires collection.

Nicknamed ‘The Iron Horse’ for his remarkable toughness, consistency and determination on the racecourse, Giant’s Causeway carried those same qualities into an exceptional stud career. Beginning his stud career at Coolmore Stud in Ireland in 2001, he moved to Ashford Stud in Kentucky the following year, where he remained for the rest of his life. Crowned Champion Sire in North America three times, in 2009, 2010 and 2012, he further cemented his legacy as North America’s leading broodmare sire in 2018. A true icon of the thoroughbred world, his influence and enduring legacy continue to be felt across generations.
